Our focus has always been

on breeding AKC Shetland Sheepdogs that some consider "toy-sized" that are beautiful,

happy, loving & outgoing

family members,

in a smaller size.

**We consider our dogs

Shetland Sheepdogs of toy size.

(Under 13 inches tall.)

Also, we do not use the term "teacup".

This is a made-up word to describe

a dog with an adult weight

under 4lbs. It is not a term used

by any registry to classify size.

And, thus far, there has not been

a purebred Shetland Sheepdog that

could be considered "teacup" size.

About Us

In 1985 I bought my first Shetland Sheepdog. Quite by accident she was "Toy" size. By most standards she was not considered show quality, but as more and more people learned of the smaller sized Shelties, they became extremely popular.

AKC Approved

We are pleased to announce that on April 16, 2014 we were inspected by the American Kennel Club and passed with flying colors!

"One can not comprehend either the physical characteristics or the mental qualification of any breed...without an adequate knowledge of the native land whence it came..."
