Puppy Guarantee

1- The Puppy mentioned in this Guarantee is, to the best knowledge of the Seller, in sound health at the time of Sale.  In order for this guarantee to be honored by the Seller, the Buyer must have the Puppy evaluated by their veterinarian within seven (7) days from the date of purchase, when Buyer has taken custody of the Puppy.. If their veterinarian determines that the health of the Puppy is in question, due to genetics and/or breeding, the Puppy must be returned in good physical condition (at Buyer’s expense), along with the veterinarian’s documentation, indicating that they examined and evaluated that the puppy was unhealthy due to genetics and/or breeding. Once the requirements mentioned in this guarantee have been satisfied, Seller will replace the Puppy with one of equal value, as soon as reasonably possible.  There are NO CASH REFUNDS, except at the discretion of the Seller.

2- The Seller guarantees the Puppy is free of any congenital defects and/or hereditary conditions that would prevent a normal life.  Unless otherwise disclosed by the Seller. Also, Seller assumes no responsibility for medical expenses, ordinary medical situations that may arise later (i.e. tear ducts, hernia, etc,), mortality of animal, landlord disapproval, family disputes, allergies to animal, or any other problems incurred by the Buyer except as outlined above.

3- At the time of purchase, the Puppy will have been examined by Seller’s veterinarian thoroughly, been wormed regularly ((pyrantel pamoate/fenbendazole/praziquantal), had any hind dewclaws removed, had flea medication applied for parasite prevention and been given two to three rounds of Puppy vaccinations (Canine Distemper - Adenovirus Types 1 and 2 - Parainfluenza - Parvovirus Vaccine).  But, as the Puppy now belongs to Buyer, it is the Buyer’s, and/or their veterinarian’s, responsibility to continue their regular vaccination schedule.  Some well vaccinated Puppies have been known to contract the Canine Parvovirus (CPV2), so it is imperative that you keep the vaccinations up to date. This will ensure the safety of your puppy.

NOTE: SELLER REQUIRES THAT YOU KEEP YOUR PUPPY AWAY FOR ALL OTHER ANIMALS UNTIL, AT MINIMUM, TWO WEEKS AFTER ALL PUPPY VACCINATIONS ARE COMPLETE.

4- If a complimentary microchip has been provided by the Seller, with the Puppy, it is at the Buyer’s discretion, responsibility and expense (if applicable) to have the Puppy microchipped.

5- ALL PUPPIES ARE SOLD AS PET QUALITY.  Also there is no guarantee of the Puppy’s final size (height and/or weight) at maturity.  Even though we do have a general idea, because of past breeding history, nature can (and sometimes does) have its own way. Puppies should be within an estimated size.

6- If at any time, you find you can no longer keep the Puppy/Dog, Seller will gladly take it back, at the Buyer’s expense. Signed registration papers and all veterinarian records must accompany the Puppy/Dog when being returned. If, and/or when, it is rehomed any/all monies received for the purchase of the Puppy/Dog  will be sent to the Buyer mentioned in the Guarantee. My Shelties are very precious to me and I never want them to end up in a shelter.

7-A deposit of five hundred dollars ($500.00) is required to hold a Puppy for a later final purchase date.  Puppies on hold with a deposit must be picked up by a specified date.  All deposits are non-refundable.

8- Any changes on these conditions are subject to the approval of the Seller.

9- By sending the deposit, and/or paying the purchase price, to purchase this puppy Buyer is agreeing to any and all conditions of this puppy guarantee.
